Early bumper automatic

Zaf,
I was looking at an 18K (1949?) automatic USA cased LeCoultre.
It shows a 476/2 movement but I cannot find a mention in your book.

Hi it didn't make the book as it's just a round time-only watch that isn't chronometer. This model does however exist as a chronometer, and I've been trying to buy one for a few years now. When I do, that will go into the book.

I was looking at the Powerwind section last night (Page 150) and the 476 is mentioned.
"a direct descendant of calibre 476, LeCoultre's first bumper movement."
So it was there all the time!
Solid 18K approx 1950.
Is the case reference stamped inside the rear case?
The seller wants $2100, is that reasonable do you think?
Naturally I would want to see the movement.
