That does help, thanks. The outline is silver, same color as the text, as is your example (gilt/gilt). For me, that fits, given the stainless steel case and dial furniture. I'm convinced it is as the factory shipped it.

I have not found an example of this exact black dial - a wide variety of dials it seems. The white dials I've seen sometimes have red trim, could not find a black one with red trim to compare. Ran across this one recently. I've seen this case before, although it is not one of the exemplars is the Basha book. The font for the cities on the dial is the ??? for me. Note the serif style. I lean toward original...
