Hello, I am looking for information on a Longines watch passed down in the family, but even on the web I am having no luck. It's Longines 18K gold, round dial with seconds hand dial, regular numbers, no model number but I have serial number in the inside back cover and on the manual wind mechanism (serial number is 6650676). Strap is gold with a little logo or number in a diamond shape inside the clasp but I can't read it. Photos taken with mobile phone so not very good, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm getting nowhere in my search so far. The Longines year identifier suggested to other users of this forum says 1943 approx but I have browsed all the list of round dial watches and I can't find it at all. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. |

I don't think you will find much info on something like this. Usually, back then, watches did not have a model name, but just a case reference number. So it's just a 1940s 18k dress watch. The case reference may be stamped on the insides of the case back. |
