Hi- New guy here. As the title indicates, I am seeking a rough appraisal on an inherited UG, that (sadly) must be sold. Stainless, back case is stamped Swiss, 1173359 (making it 1945 by my research), and 22223. All functions seem to work fine. No box or papers. Band is a Bellavance, I believe from the 50's.

I am reluctant to remove the back case without the proper tool (someone already has, and left some scratches that I think can be polished out). The crystal has a tiny crack at about 4:30, that I think goes all the way through (based on oxidation marks I see on the dial in that area).
Would I be better off selling the watch with these problems, or having them fixed, maybe getting the dial cleaned also?

Also, what is the best way of selling this watch? Ebay, dealer consignment... ? Thank you in advance.
