Hello Zaf.Ran across your nice site and sure could use a little info on this watch. Its a LeCoultre. The inside case says "cased and timed in USA by LeCoultre". 10k gold filled 5211426 4208-490.On the watch body, it says LeCoultre unadusted Swiss 490/BW.Seventeen 17 jewels. My mother tells me my father bought if for her in 57 or so for around 60 dollars at the time..I would like to know its appox value in todays market. One other thing. The watch doesnt work.I would very much appreciate any help you could give. Thanks Arnold

Value as it stands is probably $50. It's gold filled, it a ladies and it's missing the balance wheel of the movement and its bridge. That's a major part that will be difficult to find. On this plus side it has a flip top which is kind of neat.

Zaf..THANK you very much for taking the time to look at it.The balance wheel.Hmm, Now that space in the assembly makes sense to me. Looked like something went there, but i wasn't sure.Only thing I can think of is this.My father was a watchmaker.I have a whole bench made for watchmaking full of his tools.Maybe he took it out and never got back to it.Let me ask you.Is the balance wheel screwed or pressed in ??? I would assume it is..Reason I am asking is , it couldn't have just fell out when I took it apart to look at it right?.

Here is a similar movement, you should be able to see what is missing. It wouldn't just fall out.
