Hello, I have one steel dial Omega and love the look so I'm now interested in this particular watch. What approximately is the value, please?

It's described as "overall excellent condition and keeps great time, steel dial, original gold-colored Breguet-style 'Moon Tip' hands, triple signed "OMEGA" on the case, movement and dial, swivel lugs, original silver Pill style winding crown, an inner dust cover lid, serial number on outer and second lid #7,459,445, original movement, the mechanism has been recently serviced, fifteen jewels, manual wind yellow high-grade mechanism signed OMEGA with serial number #4,647,493."

Diameter (with crown):52.50 mm. Diameter (without crown):49.00 mm. Watch crystal diameter:43.00 mm. Thickness: 15.00 mm.

He doesn't say what the case material is, but if he didn't list a silver stamp (0.925 or whatever) then I'd have to assume it's steel or nickel plated. I'll ask. Thanks again.

I am quasi certain then that it is a pocket watch conversion to a wrist watch. To my knowledge Omega did not make wrist watches this size circa WWI. You can make sure by taking the dial off and making sure the dial feet have not been cut or moved.

If it is a conversion, it isn't all that collectible, but they look cool, value is about $500-550.

I'm not a collector, but it certainly looks cool in my opinion. Thanks again, your time is greatly appreciated.
