This is a small ladies wristwatch, 14kt white gold (stamp on back of the case) and 18 kt gold band, a ribbed mesh. There is a circle of diamonds surrounding the face. This is in the original green leather box, with the original LeCoultre certificates and warranties. This was a gift to my great aunt when she retired in the mid-60s. A dealer recently offered $35 for this watch. |

I'm not sure with such a small photo, but $35 for just about ANYTHING in gold is crazy low. Run away from that dealer. At a minimum there is $150+ in metal & diamonds in there, at a very minimum. It's worth more than scrap anyway. So try to get a larger photo. Thanks. |

lecoultre's (not jaeger & lecoultre or jaeger lecoultre) were assembled in the u.s. from the 30's to the 80's and the movements were engraved with "VXN".if that's the case with your watch, inside the case will be stamped: cased and timed in usa. if it runs well you could have it cleaned and probably get 300-400 usd for it. perhaps more. |
