Here is a Bulova watch that I recently found at a garage sale. Can't seem to find any infor mation on it online, can someone assist? All I can find on the watch is Bulova A8 with the serial number 2359476 marked on the back. It runs good and keeps great time. It is a manual wind. Any help would be appreciated. Lincoln  | ||

The A8 code indicates that the watch was produced in 1948. This model has a solid 14K case, I believe. I've owned/sold 2 watches identical to yours and they both had solid 14K cases. Gold content will be engraved on the inside of the case back. Market value is relatively low... $150-$300. Your watch appears to have a moderately deteriorated dial and probably would fetch somewhere in the low end. Greg |
