Hello! I'm new, and I'm hoping y'all can help me out. I have a watch that was my grandfather's. The face says "LATHIN" under the 12 which then has "17 JEWELS" under that. It appears that the numbers and hands have glow-in-the-dark enamel on them. Instead of a 6, there is the second hand box. Above that it says "antimagnetic." It has one of those snap backs which I opened. Unfortunately, the only thing that happened was that the face moved from the clear part of the watch; I could not see any of the inside info. Because the watch works (but seems to be a half hour slow!), I was not about to try and move the face off. I did find that underneath the second hand box it says "Swiss." The watch is 7/8 inch by 7/8. There is a wristband that goes with it--something like a backpack strap material. I have no model number to go on. The top is either glass or plastic; it is very scratched up. There is no wording on the sides nor the back. The watch may be silver because it is tarnished. It is a manual, and the stem is gold. Any info you could share would be very much appreciated. --Sara in Texas

I forgot to add: the tarnished metal is that which is considered the front/top part of the watch. The back is a different metal. Again, thanks for your help!
