What a terrific forum!
I just dropped my watch off at the jewelers to be reconditioned so can't include a photo.

My watch is rose gold with a square curved face and crystal and is in very good condition. The face includes the small second hand at the six olock position. The movement serial number is 158626 and the watchmaker also found the letters VXN. I would like to know an aproximate year of make and estimate of value for insurance while it is being sent to Switzerland for the work. Thanks so much.

First of all, sending to CH will cost you between $1000 and $2000, so make sure the watch can absorb that kind of expense. Very few can.

The watch dates to approx 1941/42.

My jeweler appraised the watch at $4000 - $6000, so I think the watch can absorb the cost. I am still kind of amazed. I bought the watch 40 years ago for 25 cents at a rummage sale and have enjoyed it, but had no idea it was so valuable. Thanks for givingme an approximate date. I am hoping that the JLC company may provide some additional information when they service it.
Thanks again.

Jewelery appraisals generally have nothing to do with reality, so maybe it's a good idea to post a photo of it here and I will tell you what it is really worth. There are very very few USA market LeCoultre timepieces that are in this price range. You can probably count them on one hand.
