Apologies for the vaguery,... anybody know?
I've got an solid gold 18K 0.750 wristwatch case with Bissonnette engraved on the inside. Case bottom has to the left of the 18k 0.750 mark,a vertical mark 127 outlined in a partial rectangle, and a sheild shaped mark to the right of the 18K box with a vignette of a head,.... 1972 is stamped at bottom below . Outside side of case (opposite side of crown side) has a 2mm wide mark with a more detailed portrait vignette and a letter "C" below it inside a rectangular perimeter. Inside of the case is machine/lathe turned with Bissonnette or Bissonnetter (cursive is very ornate) and 6578 engraved. Case back is press fit, as without tools I can rotate it, but not pull it off. Lens or crystal? is plastic. No other markings,... maybe Bissonnette/r was the craftsman not the company?? Case is 33mm wide and 6/7mm tall, walls are about 3mm thick. Width for a strap is about 17.5mm. Thank you, WR.
