Gold plated 34 mm Bumper automatic (it sounds like that at least have no tool to open it) Runs very good, changes date perfectly on time. how old is it ? Idea of value ?

It looks more like a "gold shell" case rather than gold plated, seems to be in nice condition.Dates from approximately 1960, value anywhere from $300-500 depending on condition, who's selling it, etc. |

Thanks - Im very happy about that estimate ... Whats the diffrence between "gold shell" and gold plate ? Did a search on the web, but was lost in golden shells and feng shui |

Gold shell is like a "shell" of the top that is fused to the steel. You can tell a watch is a gold shell if the backs of the lugs are steel. On a gold plated/gold filled watch, the entire case top will be gold in color. Gold shell has a lot more gold than filled/electro plated. |
