Hi, could you kindly appraise this Breitling Cadette Chronograph from the early 1950's I think. The watch is triple signed Breitling on the dial, the case and the movement. The movement is a Venus 188 movement with 17 jewels The case shows the model number 1189 and the serial number 812851. It is 35mm wide with the crown and 40mm lug to lug. It is an 18k gold watch.

The last one I had sold for $1000, the Cadette was a more ecomonical line of watches, the value is relatively lowish as the Venus 188 is not one of the higher grade movements used in that era by Breitling and others. |
