Hi - This watch was given to me by a great aunt (from Great Britain), who said it belonged to her grandmother. There is no maker listed as far as I can see. The case is sterling silver with an ornate design front and back - markings on the inside include intials LH?, a number 0,935, another number 15371 and two small lion rampant figures. On the actual movement there are some letters S, R, & A and another letter I can't read - F? Dial is white with gold design and small blue stones. I have what appears to the be original box it came in which states "W. Hinds, Jewellers and Watchmakers, London and Provinces" and there is a small brass key. It needs a good cleaning and service. Do you have any idea about its age and value? Any info you might have would be much appreciated! |

Not sure what it is exactly, it appears to be a 1850s type of pocket watch. Generally speaking, small sterling pockets that are not one of the "top 10" brands are not worth a lot of money. Maybe $100-200. But I am just guessing. |
