I inherited this Seiko watch and was able to find online that it is from 1977. The back has 7559-6010 engraved along with 9n1570 as the serial number. I have been unable to locate a value? |

The watch was made in November 1979. Dating any Seiko is easy, so long as you know the decade when it was made. First digit is the last digit in the year: "9" = 1969, 1979, etc. Second digit is the month: 1=Jan, 2=Feb ... letter O=Oct, N=Nov, and D=Dec. The rest is just a serial number. There is an article on this particular model here: http://www.thewatchsite.com/index.php?topic=8393.0 Hope this helps, gatorcpa |
