Zaf, It's fully signed *Lecoultre, Star Case Co, 80 microns, etc*. I assume the P denotes plaque or plated. My friend stated this was probably made for the European market. What do you think?

It should be yellow gold plated, yes. Initially it looked white to me, but looking at it again, I misjudged.
