I've recently found this Omega watch while cleaning out my grandfather's office after he passed away. Unfortunately, my grandmother doesn't know anything about where it came from and there are no markings on the back of the case at all. I've been searching through images on the web but haven't been able to find anything really similar. I think it is made of steel. I know he served as part of the occupying force in Japan at the tail end of WWII - if that helps? I'd appreciate any insight o

Looks more like an early 1960s watch to me...not WWII. |

If you can get the serial number off of the movement, you can date it. |
