I just received this from a relative's estate. It's a women's Baume Mercier white gold or stainless watch (feels too heavy for stainless) with diamonds around the face and a bracelet style band. Keeps perfect time and I would guess is from the 50s. Any info/estimate would be appreciated! |

With gold as high as it is, most of these ladies cocktail watches from that era, short of 3-4 ultra high end brands are trading at or near scrap. |

It's in perfect condition and I would guess the band is stainless so I'd rather keep it as a watch than scrap it since I like the style. Any idea of it's value? |

If it's stainless value is low. Diamonds don't scrap for much...maybe $200 tops. |

Thanks, took it to a watch store today and found out the band and casing is 14K so worth more than I thought. I know the gold scrap value is more than than the watch value but it's pristine so going to keep it. |
