Your watch is a ladies Jaeger-LeCoultre model called the "Par Excellence". It was produced in the 1950s in a variety of different case materials (14K, platinum) with/without diamonds and originally cost between $350-$1,000, depending on model. This was a HUGE sum of money in the 1950s and these were among the more expensive ladies watches available. It is powered by a 16-jewel caliber 426 backwind movement.

Your watch appears to be a plainer version of the Par Excellence with solid 14 karat white gold case and attached 14K band. It would have been the $350 version in the 1950s. These JLC backwind models are relatively common on eBay and other auction sites. Unfortunately, they are very underappreciated in the market and have been bringing little more than melt/scrap value of the gold in the case & band. Probably because the current trend/style is for larger watches. Around $300-$450 would be what your watch would be expected to fetch at auction today.
