Hi, I recently inherited this watch from my grandfather. I know it was purchased around 1970. The case is made of wood and it is in great condition. The band is made of leather which is also in good condition.
Thanks for the help.

I have not had one of these in a long time. I don't know if there is a premium for wood over vermeil, but the vermeil ones are going for around $600-700.

I am curious if anyone has any information about this watch. I contacted Cartier and they stated that they do not keep records of past models. Is there any kind of maintenance that should be performed etc. Any information is appreciated.

It is a wind up watch, correct?
