The serial on the back is 341768. The number on the movement is 377441. Is this something I should add to my insurance, hence get cleaned - or is it just a curio? Please advise. Thank you.

Sorry the additional information is:Diameter aprox. 37mm. Additionally, the hand with the red end does not stay on the number/date, other wise is keeps "ok" time against my rolex. Thank you.

In spotless condition, it's something worth > $2500. BUT you have a dial that was repainted with a very heavy hand at some point, so as it stands, it is not an easy watch to sell. So if you're going to leave it unrestored as is, maybe it's worth $1000 for insurance purposes.
