We received this in a box of old watches. From what I can tell, it's a Breitling Navitimer 806, from around 1955, and made very unusual because it doesn't have the usual Breitling AOPA emblem. Any estimated value range? Thanks   | ||

Ballpark, around $4000. I might want to research if that dial is original to the watch. I'm not a Navitimer expert, but I suspect it's later or at a very minimum 2nd generation or 3rd generation dial for that style of case. | ||

Thank you. I came across another website that had a photo of what appears to be an identical match. The author termed it "extremely rare" and that he had only seen two in his lifetime. I'm not a watch collector and would like to market it but obviously want to get a fair price. What's a good way to market it? I'm in the Washington DC area. | ||
