Very nice! I would be very interested to see case markings and details to see if it is a custom piece produced by a jeweler from a JLC watch or a JLC-produced item.

I've bought/sold ladies' JLC watches of this caliber frequently. In general, custom or low-production jewelry pieces like this don't have a well-defined "market value" because they come to market so infrequently and have such a small buying audience with the $$ to buy them. Therefore, they tend to be priced based upon their value as a jewelry item rather than their value as a collectible watch.

Wholesale value will be closely tied to the value of the gemstones and gold/platinum weight. Is this an item you're trying to sell or just value for insurance purposes?

I'm very surprised to see that it is 18K gold (mentioned in your 1st post) as most JLC pieces of this caliber were executed in platinum. I'm very interested to see more pictures!

Gregb; I have some more info. The markings on the back of the watch are as follows. There is the number 0730 or 0750 stamped as well as another number 26034 and 18k. Thanks for your help.

In addition Greg we are deciding what to do. We might think of selling or just continue to keep it. It depends on what the watch is worth and what it might bring in either in a private sale or auction. Bonhams in NYC is interested in seeing the watch up close and we will be showing it to them some time in August.
