Can anyone tell me anything about this pocket watch. It is unsigned as far as I can see and the case is unmarked except for "Chronometer" and "36 Rubis." A jeweler who looked at it said the case looks like gold though it seems a little light (he did not test). Case diameter is 65mm, movement about 43mm. Any information or value appreciated.

No way to tell on this one, without seeing it. I'm not entirely convinced it is Swiss made. What do you know about it?

I don't know anything about it. It came from an estate.

Got me on that one. Sorry. Pockets are not my strong suit.

I can't really see the Trademark, however I would bet you have a really nice watch there.
Sometimes it's only a makers mark or hallmark that can give you some information on watches, or they may have information on the inside of the movement. If you can show the marks a little better, maybe I could help.

PS You also should list the writing on the case it's the manufacturers name, show those marks too, along with the ones on the inside where it says Chronometer.
