Ulysse Nardin chronometer sold as is, non-working. History unknown, bought second hand retail. No band.
34mm wide SS case with gold colored ring at base of crystal. Top of arms extending from case are gold tone too, faceted, with one missing at the 11 position (top left in photo and not easily seen). Case back has some scratches. I describe parts as gold colored as I have no idea of their actual content.
Marks on case: 8715 embossed into side of case below 6 position.
Crystal is scratched. Hour and minute hand appear to have corrosion. Hour and minute hand move easily when time is set. Second hand does not move at all. Windage has positive feel when wound. It has only been wound several times to test and does not feel tight.facefacebackmovement

Hi, is that a Borgel case? Normally Borgel cases refer ot the cases that screw in from the top.

I was wondering what is the approximate age and, knowing it is not working, a value; brand, movement, case, complexity, condition. To the value point, it appears to be mechanically clean and intact. So, would it be worth servicing, repairing or sell for parts? I realise this may require an expert evaluation of condition. Can you recommend someone in North Carolina?
Thank you for your time.

It looks like an early 1950s watch. In running condition, value really depends on the dial, if it's not attractive maybe $700 if it's a nice dial, maybe up to $1400. I really can't tell how it looks in person. I don't know anyone in NC, but I can have serviced just about anything here in D.C.
