Hi. I have a Rolex Oysterdate that I purchased in 1969 while in Spain in the navy. It is steel with a steel bracelet, light silver face. Diameter is 1.25. Face has Rolex then Oysterdate at the top and Precision towards the bottom. It is a manual wind and it works. I would like to know its approximate value and what I might expect to get for it from a dealer. Thank you. |

$900 was fair, they'll probably get $1300-1400. Depends on how crisp they can make it. Keep in mind dealers have to recondition the stuff (frequently service the watches, more often than not) and pay taxes on the profit, so no one is getting rich here. |
