I'd guess around $5-600, I don't know the year of manufacture, sorry, but judging by the look, I'd say late 1960s.

You know, what is very interesting to me is how Tiffany name carries monetary value. If you are talking about watches that are more than 40 years old, is a "name brand movement" really that much more reliable than "generic brand"? Purely based on mechanics, do you think Tiffany or Cartier are really a "better watch" than generic movement of the same age watch? I ask because I actully find generic brand art deco watches to be more beautiful most of the time. Should I give them up because Tiffany (for example) would be more reliable?

Unless it's like a Timex 1 jewels type thing, no. I think the generics as long as they're reasonably jeweled (say 15 jewels) and haven't been abused can be reliable. The question is getting a movement that hasn't been mishandled by a clumsy repair guy at some point.

Many of the generics will have mass produced movements from firms like ETA, Schild, Unitas, etc, these are mass produced movements which are just as reliable (if not more) that the boutique brands.
