Hi and thanks for reading.

I have an Oyster Tudor watch, Model number 7934, serial number 339657.

I was hoping that someone maybe able to look at the attached pic and see if looks genuine and if so, is it from around the 1944-45 period? And naturally, some kind of current value would be nice to know too.

Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

It is gebuine, though with a faded dial like that, value is probably about $300-350 (assuming it runs well)

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. Although by looking at the photo it seems that the dial is faded because the printing looks incomplete, but the printing is actualy all there it's just that there are some scuff marks on the glass face which makes the printing appear to be faded. Not sure if that changes anything. Also, would it be wise to replace the glass, or better to keep the original even though scratched and scuffed?

You can replace the glass without harming the value. If the dial is very nice, you can add $100-125.
