Hi there,

I'm trying to get my watch repaired - 18kt Yellow Gold, Lady's Round face and case Bulova Accutron Dress watch 13 jewel Swiss-Made Bulove 2300 unadjusted Accutron N2 case numbered 2-5474904 and 7063 - and having some difficulty finding someone to do the work and it dawned on me to do some research. After seeing this site and reading some of the threads, I wondered if this watch is near as valuable as the attached appraisal indicates. Anything you can add would be very much appreciated. Kelly

No it isn't that appraisal is ridiculous. I'd challenge you to get someone to pay even $1000 for the watch.

On the other hand, if you want the watch repaired, I can refer you to someone in Canada.

I had a feeling you'd say that after reading the threads. I would really appreciate a repair name for someone in Canada, please and thanks! I've had it repaired a couple of times and none of the repairs seem to stick. The last time it ran fast for a bit and then died again. My aunt just got a quote on it for a new index wheel and overhaul for $550 or new movement/new hands for $300 and I wondered if one method of repair over the other would degrade the any value of the watch? Thanks for writing back so fast! K

LOL I guess to if you know someone in Western Canada who might be able to give me a written appraisal on the watch as well for insurance purposes that might be good too? :-)
