I recieved a vintage ladies diamond watch from my husband, for Christmas. On the front, below the 12, it says Hemco. Below the hands, above the 6, Presidents Club. There is a monogram on the back, but no further helpful info. I have not opened the case. I have not been able to find anything similar, nor any other info of Hemco ever manufacturing watches. Anything you can tell me as to the age, potential value, or manufacturer would be appreciated. Thanks |

This sounds like an award watch possibly given by the "Hemco" company for sales achievement (i.e., Presidents Club) or some such. The watch would have been manufactured for Hemco by a watch manufacturer. The monogram would identify the employee. Not much more can be said without some pictures of the watch (front, back, inside of back, movement, etc.). The actual manufacturer and approximate date of manufacture might be identified by this. The value is likely to be the scrap value of the watch materials (gold, diamonds). |
