Looks like a "Bubbleback" (maybe case reference 2940). If you take the bracelet off with a pin, you will see two numbers 1) The case serial number and 2) The case reference number. Once you do that we'll know what you have for sure. |

Cheers for the info Zaf, i could only get one side (bottom, 6 o'clock)of he bracelet off, unfortunatly it didnt have any numbers on that side, i dont want to risk damaging it so wont give it to much pressure. i can see though it does say 2299 i think on the back, the watch itself is only about an inch across so im not sure if its a mans or a womens because its rather small and the bracelet isnt very big. what year do you think this watch probably made? |

It looks like a 1940s "bubbleback" to me. There are about 31mm accross, so about 1.2" across. |

interesting Zaf, thankyou, ok, obviously im kinda interested in what its value is likely to be, ive included another picture and a pen to give it a sence of scale. also this is a wind up watch not an automatic, my wife is going to take it to a jewellers to find out the srial numbers etc.
