This pocket watch is from the Suffolk Watch Co. of Boston, Mass. Both the front and back open as demonstrated in the photo attached. The back has an extra inside cover, which is engraved with my grandmother's name. It is gold-colored, but I don't know what the gold content is. There is no marking. It is much more gold looking than the photos show. There is a number engraved on the inside of each of the covers, 4908732, which might be a serial number. It measures almost 1.5", not including the stem.
