Hi: I know that watch. It is cased in he US and it's definitely stainless steel. Some were white 14kt gold, but in this case it should show somewhere...
The movement is an early automatic wit the mass oscillating between two coil springs. In yours one is missing. If the movement is OK, I would look for the missing spring, fix it, and leve it as is.
The value for a white gold is about 2000/2500 $ if in good shape. The SS I have no idea.
All the best.

There is no spring missing in your watch movement. The previous poster, Lospic, is confusing your movement (a caliber K812) with the LeCoultre caliber 815/825 which has 2 springs. The cal K812 only has one longer spring, as your picture shows.

The value of your stainless steel automatic "Saturn" Mystery Dial will be significantly lower than the 14K gold 37-diamond "Galaxy" versions. The market is also pretty soft right now. I would estimate value of your watch around $1,000/$1,500, though the stainless steel screwback versions like yours were relatively low production.

I'd actually estimate the value to be lower, because of the dial. I'm finding it very difficlut to sell items with condition issues with the dials being one of the most important factors.
