I would like to inquire about a watch that was given to me with some costume jewelry. On the face it has the name Baume et Mercier with the word Geneve underneath. At the bottom of the dial the word quartz. On the back there are the numbers 1412350 18523 9 and an unrecognizable symbol. Engraved in the clasp is 18K dgs p. There are 50 stones total that appear to be handset. The bracelet is made up of thick double ropes. The watch is approximately 6 1/2" long. Thank you |

I forgot to add that the watch is in excellent condition and simply needs a good cleaning. Can you please give me an idea as to it's worth? I'm trying to secure a loan and a bit of collateral would be helpful. Thank you |

I'm sorry but on watches like this, it's almost 90-100% tied in to the value of the gold and stones and it's very difficult to determine that from a photo. You need to weigh the gold and have someone value the diamonds. If you want me to take a wild guess, I'll guess $1200-1600. |
