Hi, I would like to know a bit more about this GP watch I bought. There's very little information regarding it's 25 jewel movement. It makes me wonder about it's authenticity. It has a 36mm stainless steel case (incl crown). Also, what is the value of my watch?

What is the concern, that someone put a GP rotor on a 25 jewel ETA movement? |

The movement (and watch) is authentic. It is a Girard Perregaux caliber 32.8 (or related) from around 1966. This automatic caliber was a joint development of Girard-Perregaux, Doxa, Eberhard, Favre-Leuba, and Zodiac. It is based on the manual-wind A. Schild caliber 1687/1688. The movement appears to be in good condition. The value might be around $150-200 |

Great answer thx. I'd give a slightly higher value though as the dial is nice. |

Hi Jimh and Zaf. Thank you for your comments. I'm glad to know it's authentic. |
