Tempus Fugit is Latin for "Times Flies" and is embossed on many dials of Grandfather Clocks. There are some very good clocks with Tempus Fugit inscribed in the dial. The three popular quality brands are Howard Miller, Sligh and Ridgeway with Howard Miller being the largest.
