My mom passed away last year, and I've been working on trying to straighten out the issues she left behind. I've finally reached a point where I can inventory and sell some items to pay off some of the bills left behind. She didn't have much that was worth a whole lot, it seems. In her jewelry box I found a ladies Bulova watch that I actually like - and it fits me perfectly. If it's worth a lot I should sell it, but if not, I'd like to keep it for myself- especially as it does still run when wound! I've uploaded a picture to help. On the back of the watch it says "BULOVA - 10K ROLLED GOLD PLATE" on the top and "9418889" on the bottom. On the back of the clasp it says "1/20-12K GOLD FILLED - B/R - PAT.1.786.945-MADE IN U.S.A.". It's a very neat unfolding/squeeze-release clasp, and is shown as all the way open in the photo.
Can anyone tell me if this is worth anything? Thank you. |

Not much. Small ladies + gold filled = low value. Maybe $20-25. Given that. Perhaps its sentimental value is much greater, sorry. |

Thanks.. I have a bigger fear of getting someone in to appraise stuff and finding out there wasn't enough value is what is there to pay the appraiser! Every little bit I can do on my own will help. Speaking of which, you wouldn't happen to know of any forums like this that can tell the value of butt-ugly lamps, would you? ;-) |
