Honestly, I don't know. It looks like the case was made in the USA. We'd probably need to see a shot of the movement to determine if it is real.

I'm not that much of an expert on ladies Cartier, but I should be able to tell you if it's real or not by looking at the movement.

Hi Zaf
I was able to get the back off of this watch. there are numbers(11337) 14 K C+B inside the case.
girard-perregaux on the movement(in extraordinary tiny letters(I could barely make out the writing with a magnifying glass. There appears to be 5 red dots(they look a lot like tiny rubies) I do not know of I can take a picture as this movement is very tiny.
I will try with my zoom lens.
Hope that this will enable you to give me a bit more info.
Thanks Mary

so does that mean that the cartier on the face is wrong? Is this a fake?
Any idea where I might be able to find out.
Do you know if Girard Perregaux ever made movements for cartier???

It looks like a GP watch where the dial was later painted to look like a Cartier.

so, would it be worth anything??
It is missing the winding stem .
In your opinion, would it be worthwhile having the stem replaced?

It's not worth as much as a Cartier. Ballpark value of your piece is the scarp value of the gold + $50-100.

Most ladies watches are trading near scrap. If it were a Cartier or a Patek, it would be more, but this isn't the case from what we can determine.

hi Zaf
I managed to contact GirardPerregaux and received some feedback about the movement. It was created in 1967. Do you know if GP ever made movements for Cartier?GP was not able to give me that info. They also state that as the watch is 14K the case was likely made in the US.Do you have any idea where I might be able to find any info if Cartier and GPO ever worked together????
Thanks again
