Hi, I have an old Bulova watch that belonged to my father. It is of great sentimental value. It is 14K Rose Gold. It has the number 5048386 stamped on the back. The bracelet is solid rose gold also. I am interested in knowing the age of the watch, it's value and more importantly if you know of anywhere I can have the band lengthened somehow so that I can wear it. I don't want to alter it too much really as I think it looks great as it is however it is too small for me as it is. It measures 8 1/4" long (end to end including clasp. The face is 3/4" wide. The bracklet portion is 5/8" wide. I attempted to contact Bulova for assistance but had no response. I'd appreciate any information you can provide...thank you! I am going to try an upload a few pictures of it.

A jeweler will be able to lengthen the part that snaps to the clasp. Value is mostly in the gold value. So a jeweler can weight it and tell you when you do the bracelet.
