Would love some information on this one, I picked it up a little while ago as a back up. Any advice on age or value would be greatly appreciated Face is approximately 27mm across, shiny enamel which looks rather like rose gold. Numbers have corroded a bit, look like maybe an early attempt at glow-in-the-dark? Back reads Shockproof, Waterproof, Non-Magnetic, Impermiable, Record Watch Co. Geneve. serial code is as follows: 472397 96 Movement: one gear is labelled Record Watch Co. Pretty sure it is original, I did some searching a while back and I'm pretty sure I found a couple of date watches on the net with record workings and saxonia labelled faces. | ||

value doesn't really worry me, less valuable makes me more comfortable wearing it all the time. Any guesses on age? With all the features ( like waterproofing) I'm guessing it's not as old as my Tudor (40's) ? | ||

Guessing, looks like late 1940s / early 1950s. |
