Hi, I have a collection of 4 Rados that have been passed down through my family and I was interested in finding a value estimate to see whether I should insure them, or if I sell them, don't get taken advantage of.

They are all 14K gold, automatic, and I don't know the years or models. A watch repair guy said that they are definitely authentic & were very nice watches that I should have appraised.

The white gold, roundish one with diamonds has never been worn, has no scratches, and runs like it was made yesterday. The alligator band is even pristine. The case is very tight (probably because it's so new-like) and I couldn't open it to show the movement, but the watch repair guy did & it was immaculate.

The gold round-faced one has been moderately worn & runs but needs to be cleaned (it runs slow). It opens from the front & I don't have the know how to open it.

The rectangular white gold one with diamonds has been smacked, as you can see by the cracked crystal. It needs a new crystal & a cleaning, but I was assured that it would be fine after that. I've opened the case & shown the movement.

The rectangular gold one has been very gently worn and runs perfectly. I've opened the case & shown the movement.

Thanks for any advice/help. I really appreciate it.

Also, do you think they're worth more as a collection to a collector or something than they would be individually? (I was considering putting a new band on one of the smaller ones & giving it to my wife & reconditioning the bigger gold roundish one for myself, but that would depend on their value!)

The round white gold one with diamonds still has a price sticker on the back, that's wht it's covered.

Nice little collection but the watches are not going to be worth much. Little demand on Rado in collector circles.

They're all going to be near the value of their gold & diamonds...
