Hello all,
I have recently acquired a great vintage watch -Zenith 1965.

The watch has a rare and unusual automatic movement with a number: 5689276. Does anyone know or heard about this?

The square case itself has a number engraved: 9816392. There is a date between 4 and 5 o clock position.

The beautiful square gold case has a *very thick* gold plating - much higher than normal plated watches.

In 2003, it seems that the company relaunched this same vintage watch as limited edition (strictly 250) for ~10,000 Euros RRP. I have discussed this watch with Zenith-UK as well and their first reaction was that they have never seen a watch with this movement before!

This vintage watch marked 100 years of watch production for Zenith Watches (starting 1865) so might carry special significance from that perspective?

What I wished to seek is some guidance from someone here....i would also like a guesstimate on the price and marketability of this piece.
Thankyou and look forward to your response.

The vintage Zenith automatics with date at 4 are common. Why is yours so special?
