Hi, Can you offer any info, advice re restoration and value on this watch. Sterling silver, 31 mm excluding crown, dial is 29 mm. the winding stem is 5 mm long!

silver watch inside case detail.tif (37.2 k)

The bezel unscrews to access the movement which comes out from the front of the case. It has a bonklip bracelet (11 mm). The crown is worn almost smooth, but quite substantial. The dial is in good condition; no cracks, but dirty and the lume is gone. Not working, but movement looks good and clean. Signs of repair inside case to the lugs. I don't know the hallmarks.
Is it worth restoring? Any idea of value before and after?
Much thanks,
Ken

This is what is called a Borgel case. The top & movement screw out while the crown is pulled out. It's some of the early waterproof work which is kind of interesting.

However, from what I see, as an anonymous maker, I think the finished product will be worth < $300, so it likely is not worth restoring.
