This watch was given to me when my grandfather passed away in 1970. I was hoping someone could give more information about it. I don't think that the band is original-Speidel c.1961 but the watch is a Wittnauer and is in very good/excellent condition (both cosmetically & mechanically) and still keeps almost perfect time. Inside the back of case is the following: Wittnauer--New York--Geneva,Montreal--L&K--10k gold filled--LK 48--17,330 There are some engravings to the right and left but I can't tell what they say. The mechanism say's the following: Wittnauer--17 jewel--swiss Any information on age and value of this watch would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Hello. It looks like a fairly common gold filled Wittnauer from the late 1950s. It was the lower end brand name of Longines at the time, value is about $125. Best, Zaf |
