I have a very unique watch but I don;t have a digital camera right now to post pictures. I will do my best do describe it. It is a rectangular body made of silver or perhaps stainless steel, on a leather strap. It is a 17 jewel movement with no other markings. This is where it gets unique, it has no face only three windows that post the hours minutes and seconds like a digital watch. There is nothing else on the face and I have found nothing like it online anywhere....I hope you can shed some light on this for me.
Thanks

It sounds like an old "digital" watch which has disks that rotatate showing hourd, minutes and seconds through small windows.

Looks like it's chrome plated, in running condition, probably $200-300.

These are called "Jump Hour" or "Direct Read" watches. You'll also hear them called "Wandering Minutes", referring to the minutes and seconds dials slowly turning to display time. Using these search terms, you can find many similar watches on the 'net and learn about your watch.

I believe that the earlier versions of these watches started appearing about the 1930s, though I've also seen examples that were produced as late as 1950s.

Value, as Zaf said, is in the low hundreds typically. I just sold an example this week for $600, but that was exceptional and it was a rarer model.

They're interesting watches, but 1,080 GBP is (very) wishful thinking on the part of the seller.

It's not a rare watch, nor is it particularly desirable, especially in a base metal case (i.e. chrome, nickel, etc, plated).
