This watch was bought in Germany or Switzerland in the 1940s. It is solid 18k gold watch that is a antimaganetic. We are trying to get an idea of what it is worth. The following words are on the face: chronographe, suisse, antimagnetique, swissmade The following ins on the back: "18k", "0,175", "132" I would like to get an idea of the present value, if the watch is worth restoring, and what the valued of it restored would be It is my great uncle's and he wants to sell if for the gold at about $50 |

It a "Chronographe Suisse" 18k chrono, in what is called a "paper thin" case...these had very very thin cases. There isn't much gold in them, but it is worth more than $50. Is it running? |
