This was my Grandfather's watch. Probably from the 50's or early 60's. The crystal is scratched and some normal wear showing on the band and the stainless steel(?) case. It runs, but intermittantly. I'm guessing that it just needs a cleaning.

My father offered it to me before he passed away, and I almost passed. I really didn't have any interest in an old chronograph. But after doing a little research tonight, I may be glad that I changed my mind!

I'd love to hear anything that you can tell me about this watch.

It's probably a venus caliber 188 based watch, from the 1950s, value probably around $450-600 in clean running condition.
