Dates to about 1947, dial has been repainted, ballpark value is $800. Add $100 if it is a screwback case. The dial repaint is really hurting the value on this one, it looks too different from what it should look like.

No chance, but you can send it to a redialler that can do a much better job.

Again, thanks for the info. Since I plan to sell the watch, if the dial was restored to original, how would that affect its value?

It would add ~$100, the cost of doing a proper job.
