Can you appraise and verify the year of this piece? Rolex Mens Oyster Perpetual. Serial number 574786. Inside case back reveals model 1003, then under that it looks like II.60, but it could be III.60. Then below that in lighter engraving is 1002. Case diameter approx. 1 1/4" good condition. |

The II.60 would indicate second quarter of 1960 production. Value is in the $900 to $1100 range. |

Thanks. But why the 1003, and then a 1002 on inside of the back cover? |

1003 would be the case reference. In some cases Rolex re-used an existing case reference and re-stamped it with another. It sounds like this is one such example. |
