can't seem to find an exact match on the F.T.'s watch price guide...both are in excellent working order and keeping good time, both show very little wear and are still "sporting" near perfect original dials...they are steel and 34mm not counting the lugs....the 3 register has a round snap back, and the 2 register has a screw-back with 4 anchor screws and inside is signed gallet/water proof....would like to know their fair market value....i don't see alot of Gallets, period, forsale......???

I don't think you'll ever be able to find what model it is. I not sure they even have model names. The inside of the back may occasionalyy carry a case reference number, but I'm not sure.

There are a lot of variations, so it doesn't really matter if you match it up with the price guide. Basically you want to look at 2 Register Round Pusher watches in roughyly the same size and 3 Register flat pusher snap back for pricing. From the looks of it, your talking like $300-350 and $450 - $550 as a "dealer to collector" type price.

Gallet is a nice brand, but not all that well known and that is why the values stay relatively low.

I know nothing about watches other than it where i go to find the time. That said, I cam across this while cleaning out my garage i guess it was a prize of sorts. On the back is inscribed "Japanese golf Association Metropolition Championship Tournament 1934 third flight won by Kichijiro Tanaka" I dont know the age of the watch what its worth or any thing but want to know all i can. I do know that it does not work.

Is that a pocket watch that is also an alarm? What does the 1-12 dial do?

In running condition, these are usually a $400 to $600 type thing. So depending on how bad the repair is, deduct from that figure.
